Good morning, A.J., My cousin and I decided we would give MyHeritage a try. Not certain what MyTrees is doing but looks as if they are piggy-backing. Thanks for your reply. Merry Christmas and a Happy, Prosperous New Year. At least we can try to be prosperous. Nita and Bill -----Original Message----- From: A. J. <a12j02@sbcglobal.net> To: Pate-L <Pate-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thu, Dec 20, 2012 9:37 am Subject: [PATE] A special offer from FTDNA and MyHeritage - what about MyTrees? Nita, I know nothing about these offers, other than what I included in the message. My message was informational, not advisory. As I wrote: “I am expressing no opinion of the offer. I have never been a member of MyHeritage. Comments from persons who have been may be helpful to others considering this service.” I am not familiar with MyTrees at all. Apparently, the MyHeritage offer was not an exclusive one for FTDNA, but since FTDNA is the largest DNA testing company, I think you could trust their reliability. Maybe others on the Listserve can add information on the other two companies and the service which is being offered. A.
