    1. [PATE] St. James the Greater Parish St. Louis, Missouri, Pate Records from 1916-1937
    2. April
    3. I happened upon this while looking for my St. Louis Pate kin. http://www2.webster.edu/~corbetre/dogtown/pj-book/pj-80-102.html http://www2.webster.edu/~corbetre/dogtown/let's-go/1931/vol-7-no-7.html This from a 1925 article: "Father O'Connor met Sisters Bernice Murphy and Parthenia Pate in New York. They appear to be in fine health and made enquiries about the many relatives and friends in St. James Parish." http://www2.webster.edu/~corbetre/dogtown/let's-go/vol-1-no-1-to-9.html There was a Sister Parthenia and a Sister Audrey (Loretta) Pate that became nuns in this parish by 1937. These two ladies, along with a Maria K. Pate and a William C. Pate, graduated from St. James school from 1916-1922. I also have a page from the book, "St. James the Greater Church, 1861-1986. St. Louis" which lists Sister Parthenia and Sister Audey (Loretta). If you are interested in a copy, email me privately, and I will send you a PDF file. This looks like part of Jinks' A2 Pate line to me. Happy New Year to Everyone on Our List! April
