    3. Greetings :-) With a name like LEWIS, there must be....oh....I'd say ......ten thousand researchers from the Susquehanna County area ALONE!!!!...but I can't seem to find even a nibble on my Julianna Maria Lewis b. 1828 from Springville. She married Pardon WELCH of Springville on 31 Mar 1848 in Lemon Township, Wyoming County. She supposedly died in Pike township, Bradford County in 1902 while living with her daughter Emily Bradshaw, (wife of Elmore)....Julianna's name at death was Julianna (Julia) SHOOK, as she remarried after Pardon died. After years trying to prove relationship to the Bradford County LEWIS's with no success, and attempting to link her to the Nathaniel/Thurston LEWIS family of Susquehanna, also with no success......I am trying to find someone that recognizes the William LEWIS, buried in the Lynn Cemetery, b. 1797 d. 1850. Could William be associated with the Lemon twp/Wyoming names of Abner, Andrew Jackson, Rebecca, George W., Horatio, Charles M. and Phebe. Could he be the husband of Sarah A. b. 1803 listed in the 1860 Lemon Twp census? (....they hung around the Fish families....) I need to crack open this LEWIS thing.....so I can get started with my wife's SMITHS!!!
