Thomas and Paula, I am looking for information on Daniel Tyler who married a Clarinda. Their children were: Doris or Dorus, Betsy, Ami Uri, Lucy, El Electa, and Charles. My Great Grandfather was Charles Tyler (11/9/1821 - 1877) of Chenango Co. He, Charles, married Mercy Ann Bixby of McDoughan, NY and they had 6 children. The children were born in the Smithville Flats area of Chenango Co.. It is just outside of Greene, NY. Their names were: Clara H.,Celestia A. Rufus S. ,Nettie A., Prudence Jane. and Eli Tyler. I have the descendants from these people but have never been able to connect Charles and Daniel to any main Tyler Family. Would they be part of your Tyler family? Any help would be greatly appreciated. They are the ones from Cochecton NY early settlers along the Delaware River families. They spread out all over the Wayne Co., Pa and Sullivan Co. NY area. One of them was killed in the Battle of the Minisink during the Revoutionary War.
