    2. Carol, This won't help you by next week, but there is a valuable book published by the Southwest Pa. Gen. Services that contain a lot of maps as the boundaries changed. At one time almost the upper half was claimed by CT, and VA claimed the southwestern corner, and MD claimed a strip along the southern edge. The book is: Pennsylvania Lia research guide to Pa. Gen. & Local History.You may write to them at: Southwest Pennsylvania Genealogical Services P. O. Box 253 Laughlintown. PA 15655 This was in the fourth edition, pub. in 1990.
