I am new to the list, and only recetnly began to investigate my NE PA roots in detail. I apologize if I get some of the counties and localities wrong. I have also subcribed and posted a message to the Wyoming Co. list. I should also subscribe to any Luzerne Co list that exists, but have been unable to find the list so far. It would be very useful if there were a NE PA list. I know that there is NE PA chat, but I do not know what the schedule is. I have also checked the several GenWeb sites, which have been helpful. Right now, I am mainly looking for info on Elijah Harris, my ?th great Grandfather burried at the "Clark?" Lemon Cemetery. He married a CARR. This information came to me a few years ago from the Rev. Garford Williams of Nicholson PA who has been so helpful to me on my Decker line. I would also like to contact him also, if you know of him. I have his mailing address, but I wonder if he is on line now? I must apologize for not being as familiar as I should be on geography of NE PA. I am not certain which county Lemon and Nicholson are in. Rev. William mentioned in a letter to me that Elijah HARRIS's genealogy was on his tombstone. I would very much like to get that information and would be willing to reimburse all related costs, travel etc. I know there were some early Harris names in the region, but I can not piece the puzzle together and have not found any IGI that fits.
