HI! AOL email will not accept html. We'd changed the color in ours (so we could read it) and every email we sent to AOL users was received as a black page. Now we detach the codes before sending. Our connection to Susquehanna County is the DICKEY surname, which we are actively researching. In Susquehanna Co., vicinities are: Harmony Twp., Susquehanna/Oakland, Ararat, Gelatt, Gibson, Herrick Center, South Gibson, Clifford. (and in Wayne Co., vicinities are: Scott Twp., and Starrucca.) At the moment, we're scouting assorted Dickey women spouses: BALL, Henry (Clara / Clarrisa, b. 1799) BROWN, John (Sarah E., b. 1833) CONKLIN, D. C. (Almeda, b. 1834) HYDE, Henry H. (Sibbel / Syble, b. 1796) OWENS, W. H. (Sarah, 1865-1895) PECK, Louis (Lucy, b. 1804) as well as wives of Nelson DICKEY (1840-1902) other than Martha Powell HUGHES (1844-1890) and all of his children (As verified, we have Edward, Sarah, Garfield, and William E. As rumored, we have Frank, Elizabeth, Nelson, David, Irvin E., Silas C., and Stanley.) Nelson wove a tangled web! We've been very fortunate in locating much family beyond Susquehanna Co., but find we are most interested in these elusive "folks from home," (most of whom we believe stayed home) and we are enjoying the hunt tremendously!
