Hello Listers, I'm new to this list and wonder if anyone can help me locate the following: 1) Elkanah Gaige/Gage b. about 1801 & wife Phebe/Phoebe Howard b. abt. 1803. These are my GGgrandparents. Children: Almarvia b. 1829 in Brackney, PA; Sarah b. 1831 in Brackney, PA who married Randolph Lottridge; Daniel b. 2/1836 in Brackney, PA who married Mary Caroline Archer (parents: Henry Purdy Archer & Abagail Moore) in Winona, MN where he went to homestead. Elkanah & Phebe were Quakers. Cannot locate Phebe Howard's parents; nor info on Almarvia & Sarah. 2) Neale Britton b. 1815 in Ireland arrived on ship "Oswego" with wife, Ellen, in 1843. Daughter Kathryn/Kate/Catherine born 1852 in Silver Lake, Susquehanna Co., PA. Neale died in 1855 in Silver Lake, Susquehanna Co., PA. Ellen Britton married my Ggrandfather, Charles M. Gage on 11/15/1858 in Binghamton, NY (justice of peace). They also left to homestead in Winona, Winona Co., MN. No cemetery listing for Neale Britton -- if I can locate his tombstone, hopefully it would provide the county of Irish origin for Neale & Ellen.
