I know this may not be on topic but I have been trying to locate a recipe of my Grandmother, Lula Walker Chandler, who was born and lived in New Milford for many years. She called it Jarvis Pudding. It was a steamed pudding which she served with a clear vanilla sauce. I'm sure it was a local recipe that had been passed from one mother or grandmother down and possibly among neighbors. If anyone on this list has heard of this dessert I would dearly like to have the recipe.
