Just have a quick question... How much more do you have to put on the census pages for Susquehanna Twp.? My Grimes, Doheny, Anderley, Tierney, and others lived in the Middletown area but are not on your pages as yet. Bill Grimes Round Rock, Texas grimy_b@swbell.net

Re. Polly (Lozier) Gaige/Gage wife of Isaac Vail Gaige buried in Brackney Cemetery -- Isaac Vail Gaige b. 9/1/1791 is my 4th great uncle, son of GGGgrandfather Mortimore M. Gaige and Catherine Vail. Think I purchased them from Broderbund about 4 years ago. Can't remember cost. Not all counties are there by name. Chris
In the For What it's Worth department: About 1934 Warren Meaker and wife Irene Lucinda Kenyon came from Hawleyton, in the Town of Binghamton, Broome County, NY to the Town of Barker, Broome County, NY. Warren Meaker, b. 16 Apr 1896 & d. 12 Apr 1974, was son of Malcolm M.Meaker and Grace G.Tripp. Warren & Irene are buried in Riverside Cem., at Whitney Point, NY. The children were Warren, George, Grace, Jeanette & Harold. Most, if not all, are still living. Chris
I have CDs for some NYS & WI census indexes. Many errors. For example, Broome County is listed under Rockland County on one CD. User Beware
I apologize to the list. I did not meant to send my response directly to the other person. Jan in Florida
You did understand that the postcard was mailed to David Hanyon and the picture is not of him, right? I will be happy to send you a copy if you will send me your snail mail address? I either don't have a way or don't know how to e-mail it to you. Jan in Florida

So someone else looking it up on CD is a transcription (or a copy) of a copy of a copy of the actual item -- not something one would consider to be highly accurate information. And certainly some films leave a lot of information open to interpretation, depending on the quality of the original and/or film. I have heard that Heritage Quest is going to put the ENTIRE US Federal Census, all 12,555 rolls, 1790-1920, online at some time in the near future -- most likely as a subscription service to commercial users such as libraries. hmmm ... I went to Beverly National Cemetery last Sunday to try and find my Grandfather. Unfortunately it turned out to be a huge cemetery and I didnt find. I however found a url that has the listing and stone numbers. Hope it helps. I know now where to look if I ever get back to that Cemetery. Does anyone have the book "Two Centuries of Memories, Lathrop & HopBottom" by Garford Williams (for the ladies church group)? I understand a lot of my Wilmarth, Brown, and Squires family history is included in that book. I have tried unsuccessfully to get one at auction. If anyone has one I would be willing to pay for copies of pages regarding my family. Thankyou. Susquehanna list, I am researching the names listed above, any information which you may have would be most appreciated. I will be glad to share the information I have. Also, where is "Keech Hill" located? Thanks for your help, Alice
Maryjean, Thanks for checking out the Brackney Cemetary. My ancestor, Polly (Lozier) Gaige/Gage, wife of Isaac Vail Gaige is buried there. In my records it was called Quaker Lake Cemetary but it seems to be one and the same. Were there any other Gage/Gaige names? Dee
