    2. sandyhart
    3. I just added a new "site specific" search engine to my web pages. You can put in a surname and get a list of the pages that have that name. I typed in "mock" and got all the listings from the Civil War database to the Mock Family Newsletter. The search engine is from PinPoint. It works beautifully. I had used whatuseek.com but they vanished. 3. DEANS photo studio....Don't have the photo at hand at the moment, but the studio may have been in Montrose where my DEANS family was early on....or in NY later. The photo is of my grandmother (senior citizen in photo) who was born 1871 in Brooklyn, NY. My grandmother's mother-in-law was Mary Eleanor (Eliz.) Deans, b 1844 in Montrose, PA. Could have been the Deans family business? Don't know how much this would help me except to put a shop name on the one or two family photographs I have of grandmother (1886?) and father, 1921, ?1910), but I grateful for any bits of info I can get to help fill out Susquehanna (and other) information. Does any one have anything? Jeannette

    3. Can you tell me where I might be able to find the names of some Photography Shops located in the Susquehanna County area, preferrably Montrose, New Milford, Hallstead around 1825-1883. I have a copy of the will of my ggg grandfather Lyman B. Cole and in that will he states that he had a photo of him and his wife Jerusha Harding Cole that he willed to his third wife upon his death. His third wife's name was Elizabeth Parmalee. I would very much like to locate someone in the Cole descendent or Parmalee descendent line to see if one of them just might have a copy of that photo. Or maybe find out the name of the photo shop where Lyman and Jerusha got this picture taken. Thank you so much for anyone who might be able to help me out. Please email me at the above email address. 3. I am looking for a Gordon family in eastern Susquehanna County. I have found that a Ray E. Gordon, who died in 1974, is interred in Gelatt Cemetery. This leads me to believe that, although he lived in New York State for quite a while, his family may have been from around the Gibson Township area. Jackie Reiss
