    3. BTW Ann I have Williajm B. Welch's 1812 War papers if you want a copy. I got them at Harrusburg many year's ago. Can't remember if I ever mentioned them to you. Joseph Welch's Indian War service is "elluded" to in a small book called "Story's of Old Saratoga" I can send a copy of that too. It mention's of his capture by the Indian's, and his "trek" home. Typical "war story" of that era, so one must treat it as such until verified by other sources. Rich in TAMPA R. W.
