Cynthia - My suggestion for Snyder Co. would be to go first to The Snyder County Historical Society, 30 E. Market Street, Middleburg, PA 17842 Phone: 717-837-6191. Their hours are 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday. HOWEVER - if you call and request another time someone will come over and open for you. Very nice people and very friendly. The courthouse is just in the next block, and they are open every day at 9 or 10 a.m. Also very nice people.
