Greetings from the Great Northwest, I have just recently caught the bug to do research in my families past and this has taken me to a point in Richfield, Synder Co. I have relied on my father who lives in Northumberland to supply me with info and does research in the area. I was born in "Norry" and have a great many relatives in the area. My research is with the surnames DIEHL, STROUP, HOFFMAN, GRESH, RICH, ARTER, REICHLEY, STEFFEN, MITTERLING. Using the Internet has taken me all over the country but I do wish to know all the details I can gather from an area that seems to point to an origin of the DIEHL family. I have a number of lists from the Synder Co courthouse that confirm death dates for members of the family but would like to know where they lived, what was the history of the time in which they lived, and recreate for the family and for the future the lives they lived. I use FTM, and have a few other software programs that I play with. Also use the LDS in the Seattle area to help in my searches. Any info would be appreciated and I have used the resources of the Internet to have "lookups" done for me. If I can supply any information to anyone I would be happy to do so. George Diehl
