Regret I have no Matthias BAUMANN in my files, but you give no dates, so I will send what I have and let you look for a connection. I have 4th great grandfather, immigrant Jacob BAUMANN (BAUMAN, BOWMAN) (1752-1829) married Susanna BRUCK (1758-1857). Settled first in Berks Co. PA, moved to Northumberland Co. about 1795 and both died and are buried at Hebe, just north of the North'd-Dauphin Co. line. Their nine children were named Jacob, Samuel, John, Henry, Elizabeth, Susanna, Polly, Sarah, and Hannah. I am descended from Hannah, who married Samuel Geise. They lived for a time in Mahanoy Twp., North'd Co., PA, thence to Ohio for one year, then back to PA and settled in Kratzerville, Snyder Co. PA. Anyone see possible connections? If someone thinks they might connect to my SULOUFF, GEISE, BAUMANN lineage, please see my Ahnentafel posted at: ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/northumberland/xmisc/nels0001.txt Will be happy to share information with relatives.
