Michael Allen Kline and Rachel (Thomas) Kline had the following children: Henry Allen, Samuel, George and Ella. Henry Allen was born on July 10, 1852. He married Mary Jane Seibert (Sipherd) Kline in Lewistown in 1873. Mary Jane was born May 8, 1855. She died on October 2, 1915. She was a daughter of Samuel Seibert and Margaret Elizabeth Snook. Henry and Mary had the following children: Charles Clayton, Margaret Alberta Rager, Carrie Jane Huffnagle, Amanda Elizabeth Heintzelman, Rachel Lucinda Simpson, Lester Allen, Mary Edna, Cora Viola Troutman, Anna Mae Shirk and Henry Ezra. After the death of Mary in 1915, Henry Allen re-married. His second wife was Esther Rheam. Henry and Esther were married in 1916. Esther was born in 1858. She died on 8/29/1933. Henry Allen died on August 30, 1923 in McClure, Pennsylvania. Henry Ezra was born on November 28, 1898. He married Margaretta Lucinda (Wright) daughter of William Wright and Annie Barbara (Yetter) on June 19, 1920. Margaretta was born March 31, 1903. Henry and Margaretta had the following children: Grace E., Henry William, Dorothy Evelyn, Nestor Samuel, Hazel Jenny Harker, David Oscar and George Edward. Melissa: My Grandmother was a Kline who was born in Three Rivers, Michigan after her father moved there from Snyder County, PA and married her mother. Her Father's name was John Wesley Kline who married Mary Ann Hile in Three Rivers 4 July 1855. Later they moved on with their family to Rice County, Kansas. John Wesley's father was John Peter Kline, b 19 Jul 1802 in Northumberland County, Beaver Township, and is buried with his wife Catherine Wagoner Kline in Beavertown. I have not been able to trace the family back any further but I know that John Peter had three brothers, George, Samuel and Jesse (several sisters too but no names.) There is a rumor that John Peter's father was named John, but then which German back then wasn't named John. George married a Barbara Klose. I have no Michael Allen Kline in my database but Michael named two of his sons Samuel and George which makes me think there may be a connection. I do know there is another Kline family in Snyder County around the same time as my family was. I have been to Snyder County and have used on line searches but I have just hit a brick wall. Can you go any further back than Michael Allen? I would sure like to make any connections with family that I could. Sorry I can't tell you more.
