Hello list! I am new to this list and I am researching the Snyder family for a relative. My relative 'looses track' of his relative in the early 1800s in what I believe is current day Snyder Co.. (... which at different points could have also been Union, Columbia and Northumberland.) Here is what we have: * The earliest Snyder he knows of is Joseph Lech Snyder b. in 1815 (in NJ per his death cert.); * Joseph married the widow of Daniel Place -- Mary Yost -- on Dec. 21, 1845 possibly in Catawissa, Columbia Co; * Joseph died in Pottsville, Schuylkill Co. in 1894. I am hoping to identify Joseph's parents and/or siblings; verify place of birth, etc. I'd appreciate any help, leads and/or suggestions any of you may have for me.
