Hello all, I have been trying to research a family from the Port Trevorton area recently and could use a little guidance. First off, in 1903 when someone had passed away, what newspaper would have covered the obituary for the area of Port Trevorton? The family I am researching is Adam GENSEMER whom had married a widow, Catharine about 1867. Catharine was previously married to a John STEPP who passed away around 1865. They had several children of whom 3 are known in 1880, Henry, Mary and John. In 1903 when Catharine passed away only John survived her from her first marriage. From Catharine's marriage to Adam GENSEMER there was only Susan Catharine who I know of. She was born about April 28, 1868 and on May 17, 1904 she married a Henry T. Moyer who was born about March 26,1863. This was Henry's second marriage. His wife of a previous marriage died on July 19,1901. If anyone can help on these families I'd really appreciate the help.
