According to blurb, it is a "collection of pastoral acts of various preachers as they traveled through Eastern Pennsylvania." It includes some pastoral records of people such as Daniel Weiser, Waldschmidt, Charles Zerbe, etc., and some announcements from papers in a number of counties, including Northumberland. I'm not suggesting that you buy the set, but a library near you might have it or be able to get it on interlibrary loan. Some of the larger regional LDS centers may have it. I haven't seen it so I don't know how well indexed it is or how much information it contains. I am not endorsing it. But it, or one like it, might have information about your people. Just a thought. Richard
These don't cover 1835. As far as Snyder County is concerned they have the following: Volume I - Marriage records of Rev. Daniel WEISER in Selinsgrove from 1825-1833 Volume II - Marriages/Deaths from the Northumberland Republicaner from 1812-1817 Marriages/Deaths from the Nordwestlich Post from 1818-1822 Mike Ziegler -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com [mailto:gc-gateway@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of bch_rtr57x@earthlink.net Sent: Thursday, August 12, 2004 2:35 PM To: PASNYDER-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [PASNYDER-L] Re: Where would I find 1835 marriage info?
