Yes, Dick Amour was the Chief of Police in Shenandoah and did have several run ins with the Mollies. He was wounded during the Gilberton Riot - he never fully recovered from the gun shot wounds and retired. He moved to Mt. Carmel, PA and died there in September 1927.
