I have a Coyle that married a Moomaw. The Moomaw family migrated the typical heugonaut pattern down to Virginia and settled there. My Coyle (originally Kyle per my grandmother) we think was Scots, but since you have some in Pennsylvania and there were some in Virginia, I concluded that they too migraged south? There are also some in the deep south. My grandmother (recently passed at age 93.5 yrs) said her gr grandmother married a coil/kyle/coyle and they were in Virginia.
