His parents were John Ryan and Julia Moore. He married Catharine Connors on February 11, 1885 at St. Mary's RC Church in St. Clair, PA. They had two children, Julia, born in January 1888 and Maurice J. (My grandfather), born January 24, 1890. Catharine died in childbirth on March 30, 1895. The baby, John Ryan, survived her by only three months, dying on June 7, 1895. Andrew then married a widow, Mary Anna Mellody Coyle, between March 27, 1897 and April 28, 1897. Mary had at least three children from her previous marriage, Matthew, born October 1887, Anna, born January 1890 and James, born July 1891. She bore two children to Andrew, Mary, born July 31, 1897 and Agnes, born March 2, 1899. Andrew and Mary lived in East Mines, a "patch" outside of St. Clair, PA. Andrew died on October 21, 1918, a victim of the worldwide influenza pandemic that killed millions. I hope this is of some help to you.
