Author: patti7226 Surnames: brennan-fitzpatrick Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.schuylkill/188.1333/mb.ashx Message Board Post: hi there- i believe my ggg grandfather edward brennan (b. abt 1814) and his wife, julia fitzpatrick (b. abt 1810) married and lived in ballynakill, laois before immigrating to cass twp, schuylkill county, pa between 1840-1843. they had at least one son, laurence/lawrence (b. abt 1838) prior to crossing the pond. the brennan's were miners (the family may have actually originated in kilkenny)...julia may also have had cousins/nephews who immigrated to schuylkill county in the mid-1860's - namely michael fitzpatrick...all of my family eventually ended up working in the mines in northumberland county - by the turn of the century. i know, thanks to dna testing, that my fitzpatrick connections date back to king brian/ossary in the 16th century...and that my brennan's were o'brennan's descended from same... i'm wondering if maybe our fitzpatrick's are/were related... thanks! patti brennan [email protected] Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
