Bonnie, I also have an ancestor who was buried there but there is no headstone. I even have the deed to the cemetery plot. Could be a headstone was never purchased and placed on the grave. Another possibility is that old stones toppled, were buried, or removed for some reason. You might have to face the possibility that you will never find her.
