Services were conducted at the residence, West Coal Street, by the Rev. Dr. Charles Roads, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, assisted by the Rev.C. W. Dungan, of Narberth, a former pastor and close friend of the family. The services were impressive and the choir of the church rendered several hymns during the service. There were many beautiful floral offerings. Many relatives and friends from surronding places were in attendance. The funeral proceeded to St. Clair on the 2:10 Pennsylvania train, where interment was made. The pall bearers were Charles Hooks, Pottsville; William Smoyer, R. H. Morgan, John Hassler, William Reeves, and J. J. Price. Willams and Son were funeral directors.
