The number may be the one to use if you request a copy of the marriage license. As for the indices, I don't know what to tell you. My experience has been that I had to find the last name in the year I was looking for and go through each name. I couldn't find William and Elizabeth Richards in any census together in Schuykill County. Did she go by another name? I also couldn't find Thomas, Miriam or Sarah in the 1880 Census.
