I have done quite a bit of searching in Brunswick and Manheim and had quite a bit of success with this website. http://usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm You can search by surname for all of PA or just the county. You could also try findagrave.com for burials and try google searching your ancestor and schuylkill county. Some of the historical books are online.
