I have not found a trace of where he came. So far as I have been able to determine his children were Zachariah, James Owens b. 18 Aug 1791, Thomas Owens, Hezekiah Owens, Noah Owens and Frances Owens. There may have been an additional child named Mathias. My aunt, now deceased, said that her family always thought he came from Pennsylvania.
