Paul, Michalski may have become McCloskey. I have a Frank McCloskey b. 20 Dec 1886 in Lithuania, d. 1951 probably in Hazleton where he lived, buried in Our Lady of Fatima Cem, Shenandoah. In an application for marriage license dated Jul 7, 1908 (found in Schuylkill County (Pa.) marriage dockets #17-1595 1885-1910) his name is spelled Frank Mickalowsky. In the 1910 census, he lived at 425 Line Street, Shenandoah. He was born in Russia Lithuania, was 24 years old, a miner in a coal mine; immigrated 1904, still an alien. He later lived in Hazleton. He had a son, Robert J. McCloskey b. 30 Jul 1934, d. 7 May 1983. Robert was married to Virginia Broski and had a daughter Sharon. Any connection?? Many local coal miners of Polish and Lithuanian descent.
