Oh My, trying to research either the Brennans or Ryans is a challenge like none you have ever faced! My husband's family is the Ryan line...he fact he has one line of them on his paternal side and another line of them on his material side. They came from Ireland into Nova Scotia, then down into PA...some were in Heckersville ...then one went to Shenandoah and the other to Mahanoy City. MC has two Ryan family lines and as far as I can tell they are not related..at least as far back as I've been able to go. Maybe in another generation or two they would be linked. I have yet to connect all the dots because the first names are all the same pattern and with the last name of Ryan you can't place the person in the correct family...i.e. how many Timothy', Michael's, Patrick's and which family do they belong to? Elizabeth DeValle has done extensive research on the Schuylkill County Brennan's you'll find her website here... http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/d/e/l/Elizabeth-M-Del-Valle/ Good Luck Shirley Ryan essage: 5 Date: Sat, 31 Mar 2007 12:27:33 -0700 (PDT) From: William Lemley <wflemley@sbcglobal.net> Subject: Re: [PASCHUYL] CEMETERY RECORD COMPILATONS To: paschuyl@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <20070331192733.45502.qmail@web82509.mail.mud.yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Shirley, How true your words are!
