    3. Can you give the pages as they are shown on ancestry.com? I usually only look there, and not in the "rolls." Thanks. I'm asking for help and opinions on reading an occupation listed in the 1860 Census. The entry of interest is found in the 1860 US Census for North Manheim, Schuylkill Co. M653_1180 pg 629, line 34, column 7 headed Profession, Occupation... The family of interest is that of Susan MAYER, Dwg 390, Family 380. Ancestry has her indexed as Susan MAGEN. I found her in Heritage Quest under Susan MAYER. The occupation I need to understand is for the person listed on the line below Susan. I believe that 25 year old male is John MAYER, whose name is listed as something almost illegible but apparently Jn do . Now what was his occupation???? All help will be appreciated, and thanks for reading, Katharine ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to PASCHUYL-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ____________________________________________________________________________________ Need a vacation?
