Hi I'm new to this site and need some help looking for John and Alice Robinson. My grandfather James Garfield Robinson is the son of John and Alice Robinson. All I have of him is his death certificate. The only information we have on him is that he was born in pennewish (on the doc it looks like someone started out with something else and then over typed the first part with Penn leaving the ewish. He was born on Dec 31,1890, his parents are John Robinson and Alice unknown. Place of birth for both parents are unknown. My mother said that he was born in Philadelphia. I can't find anything there between 1890 and 1900. I just notice that there a New Philadelphia may be they are there. If anyone could look up the census for New Philadelphia for 1890 to see if they find a John and Alice Robinson there I would greatly appreciate it. John and Alice should have at least two daughters (don't have their names). James won't be on 1890 census and we believe the parents died between 1890 and 1900.
