Today I received the death certificate for Annie McEntee, daughter of Alice and Edward McEntee (my GG grandparents). I ordered this online from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania over the weekend and it arrived already. They are quick! Annie died in 1918 in PA, was born in Ireland around 1857, and I had hoped that her death certificate might list a county in Ireland for her birth. No such luck; it says "Ireland," just like every other record I've found. There was one bit of information though that I completely forgot about, the maiden name of mother! It is right there on the death certificate - Annie McEntee was the daughter of Edward McEntee and Alice BRADY. So there is another surname for my family history - BRADY. So now at least I know that somewhere in Ireland, around 1845 or so, Edward McEntee and Alice Brady got married. I wonder what my chances of finding THAT record... Kelly
