My great-grandfather James McKenna married Mary Anne Murphy. She was the daughter of Owen Murphy and Catherine Tunney Murphy of Minersville, Pennsylvania. These Murphys originally immigrated from County Mayo, Ireland. James McKenna and his wife Mary Anne Murphy McKenna relocated to Baltimore, Maryland. They are listed on the 1880 federal census for Baltimore City. They had three children: my grandfather John Aloysius McKenna and his brother William McKenna and their sister Susan ("Sue") McKenna. Please send me a list of all your Murphy relatives from the Minersville area. Perhaps they are related to my Murphy relatives.
