Do you know whether your Zimmermans were related to Daniel and Maria Zimmerman who owned a farm near Zion UCC in Snyders? Daniel was born about 1812 and died between 1853 and 1860. Maria kept the farm, and it eventually passed on to their son William (1839-1915). William's siblings were Sarah, Priscilla, Susanna, John, and Daniel. I'm descended from Daniel (1853-1930). The family was active at Zion UCC, where Leonard Zimmerman, a Revolutionary War veteran, is supposedly buried. I've been trying to establish whether my line descended from Leonard, but know nothing about Daniel born c. 1812 other than what I've been able to learn from census records.
