Hello Jean. Thank you for your kind efforts on my behalf reference the 1900 & 1910 censii. Our ancestors have to date [other than a very light sprinkling of an Irish connection and an even lighter of English] been of Welsh origin. That of course excludes any marriages of the American members of our family. On this side of the Pond, we have traced back to the 1730s. We have as yet not looked at the Irish side of things, the English blood did not come into the family until reasonable recent times, 1907. Jean I presume you are living in the USA, which obviously makes UK research that little bit more difficult, I have the reverse problem. Therefore if you have a particular log-jam centred in or around Kidderminster, please give me relevant data and it will be my pleasure to see if I can loosen those logs up. Best regards. Dorothy. ----- Original Message ----- From: "JEAN AURAND" <jeanaurand@msn.com> To: <paschuyl@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 11, 2007 5:30 PM Subject: Re: [PASCHUYL] 1890 CENSUS GONE AWOL > Hello Dorothy: I have an Edwards relative (through marriage) in Tamaqua, Pa which is in Schuylkill County. You may find your Edwards family there in the 1900 census. I also have Edwards ancestry in the UK from Kidderminster. My gr gr gr grandmother, Ann, married a William Edwards. Ann had a son, Alexander Martin, and I've never been able to find the name of his first wife. His daughter's mother's name is listed as Elizabeth Edwards on the death certificate, but I think that MAY have been a confusion with Ann Edwards. Just throwing this out in case there is a possible connection. I'll take a look in the 1900 census (weren't you the one who didn't have access to an index?) and get back to you.
