Hello Dorothy: I have an Edwards relative (through marriage) in Tamaqua, Pa which is in Schuylkill County. You may find your Edwards family there in the 1900 census. I also have Edwards ancestry in the UK from Kidderminster. My gr gr gr grandmother, Ann, married a William Edwards. Ann had a son, Alexander Martin, and I've never been able to find the name of his first wife. His daughter's mother's name is listed as Elizabeth Edwards on the death certificate, but I think that MAY have been a confusion with Ann Edwards. Just throwing this out in case there is a possible connection. I'll take a look in the 1900 census (weren't you the one who didn't have access to an index?) and get back to you.
