Looking for anyone who is working on this Powell family. Abner was a well known baseball player and lived in New Orleans where he managed a baseball team there. His father was Thomas Powell who was killed in a mine accident just before Abner was born. Thomas Powell was a brother to my grandfather William Powell. They were from Southern Wales. Abner had a brother, Joseph Cyrus Powell, who worked on the local newspaper.
