My 3r great grandfather Benjamin Buffington came to that area 1750. He is buried at foot of short maountain with John Peter Hoffman and 25 others. He owed a farn near the Hill Church and his son Levi helped built the Hill Church and his brother George donated land for church and cemetery. The Church was first named the Buffington Church. I have Rombergers in my Buffington relatives thru marriage. Sorry I can't make it, my traveling days are over.
