My grandmothers funeral notice was posted in a W. Pittston newspaper. The paper listed her birth and marriage were both in Mckinsberry Schuylkill county PA. Both had dates and from this I went to the county seat and was informed that the dates were older than the data PA has. I have sent to Harrisburg for a copy of her death certificate to get her maiden name if it is listed. I am awaiting the resuls of this request.
