The marriage took place in Mahanoy City, I don't have the exact date, because I didn't fully research the family, but most likely around 1940 give or take a year or 2 I have a few of my mother's photos from their wedding day. >From the Schuylkill County Government page: Marriage Docket List Book-Number Bride & Groom 109-165 1931-1950 Murphy, Helen Mary (Female) Thomas, Morris James (Male) After Helen and Maurice (known as Moe) married, I know that they lived in Mahanoy City for awhile. They are listed in a 1948 directory of residents of Mahanoy City, with their 2 daughters, Susan and Martina Seen here at the Schuylkill County, PA GenWeb Site: ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/pa/schuylkill/xmisc/mcity/1948/54.txt I know when I started my research a number of years ago, they lived in York, Pennsylvania. I don't know if they are still alive or not.
