Sorry, Joann, no Dooleys or Dulys in the index for Christ Cemetery, but there is a death record in a different section of the book "Early Death Records of Sch. There is a cemetery (and church) located in Llewellyn (Branch Township) about 7 miles wesr of Pottsville on route 209 that was always known as Clausers. My grandparents are buried there as well as a few other relatives. Sorry, no. Good hunting! Bill
My gg grandmother was a Brennan from Ireland, do not know where. She and a sister Ellen went to Ontario. I found her and her sister, I have the sister's whole life. But I cant find my gg grandparents wedding date. But I do have the first two sons baptisms in Canada. When they came to Heckscherville, Wow forget it. I tried to find a reason why? I believe there had to be some one here they knew. I have a Margaret Ryan married to William Lipsett, she was daughter of James and Margaret Ryan. She was born about 1861. My gg grandparents were John and Catherine Brennan Lipsett. I also have Ryan married to Keating which was my g grandmother's surname. She was Lucy Ryan b-1880 married to Thomas Keating.. I know nothing else about her. When I first started to do this, I found 56 diff families of Brennan living in Cass Township. It is Like Smith and Jones LOLOL Thanks for the name doing the Brennan search. I will contact her. Is there any connection on the above names? Oh My, trying to research either the Brennans or Ryans is a challenge like none you have ever faced! My husband's family is the Ryan line...he fact he has one line of them on his paternal side and another line of them on his material side. They came from Ireland into Nova Scotia, then down into PA...some were in Heckersville ...then one went to Shenandoah and the other to Mahanoy City. MC has two Ryan family lines and as far as I can tell they are not related..at least as far back as I've been able to go. Maybe in another generation or two they would be linked. I have yet to connect all the dots because the first names are all the same pattern and with the last name of Ryan you can't place the person in the correct family...i.e. how many Timothy', Michael's, Patrick's and which family do they belong to? Elizabeth DeValle has done extensive research on the Schuylkill County Brennan's you'll find her website here... http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/d/e/l/Elizabeth-M-Del-Valle/ Good Luck Shirley Ryan essage: 5 Date: Sat, 31 Mar 2007 12:27:33 -0700 (PDT) From: William Lemley <wflemley@sbcglobal.net> Subject: Re: [PASCHUYL] CEMETERY RECORD COMPILATONS To: paschuyl@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <20070331192733.45502.qmail@web82509.mail.mud.yahoo.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Shirley, How true your words are!
