    1. [PASCHUYL] Will do lookups
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: alecsandrab Surnames: Classification: immigration Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.schuylkill/11279/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I posted this yesterday but it hasn't shown up yet, so I will post it again. I have a couple of databases I can do lookups in. They are: "A Collection of Upwards of Thirty Thousand Names of German, Swiss, Dutch, French and other Immigrants in Pennsylvania from 1727 to 1776" by Prof I. Daniel Rupp. This is mostly ships lists. "The Penn Germanis continuing The Pennsylvania German, A Popular Journal of German History and Ideals in The United States." ed. H W Kriebel. This is all of the 1912 journals written. Mostly it is stories about people, but there is some genealogy in it. "Pennsylvania Genealogies, Chiefly Scotch-Irish and German." by William Henry Egle, MD, MA. It has a lot of genealogy in it, but I couldn't find even one relative in there, so I was disappointed in it, so I hope it can help someone else. "Swiss and German Pioneer Settlers of SOuth Eastern Pennsylvania and of their Remote Ancestors, from the Middle of the Dark Ages, down to the Time of the Revolutionary War." by H. Frank Eshleman, B.E. M.E. L.L. B. This is mostly the stories of the people who were expelled from Switzerland and Germany due to their religion, mostly Mennonite and Amish. There are a few ships lists but they are not very extensive, mostly just listing last names. It also seems to concentrate on Lancaster county but does mention others. If you want le to look up something, please put "Genealogy Look Up" in the subject line. I hope I can help someone fill in the blanks. I have never found the earlier graves of the Robson's. I have been looking for information on Charles Robson born in 1790 and his wife, Mary born in 1795. They had Edward, William, Charles, Jane and Mary Ann. I have many of the children and grandchildren of the above people but I have never identified where any have been buried. I am very interested to find out if you have located their graves and I would like to thank you for taking the time to bring this to my attention. 2. Julian H. Preisler
    3. Dear List Members: Forgive my error in posting a request for Berks County on the Schuykill county list. My Pennsylvania geography is not too good!! I meant to post to the Schuykill County list instead and see if someone could take a color photograph of the exterior of the synagogue in Pottsville. It is called Oheb Zedeck Temple & Center and is located at 2300 Mahantongo Street in Pottsville. I am researching American Synagogue Architecture and am in the process of creating an e-Book on the subject. Photo credit will be given to the photographer both in the research project and upon publication. If anyone can do this for me or knows of someone who is willing to assist, please do get in touch with me. Photographs can be digital (preferred), but I can also accept regular print photographs and can scan them into the database. I have photographs of many of the Jewish temples and synagogues in Pennsylvania and would also like to include the one in Pottsville. I thank you in advance for your help and look forward to hearing from any of you. Sincerely, Mr. Julian H.
