Hello Listers, I believe I have made a discovery on my search for my BUTKUS family from Schuylkill, PA. If anyone can help me research the birth of Anna F. BUTKUS born to George and Catherine (WHITE) BUTKUS in 1891 in Shenandoah and married at age 14 to Matthew POLACONIS who was 34 at the time of their marriage, I would appreciate it. In 1910 Anna and her sister, Elna BUTKUS born 1893 in Shenandoah, PA were living with Matthew POLACONIS in New Haven, Connecticut. I believe Catherine (WHITE) BUTKUS was deceased in approximately 1907 and George moved to Chicago, Illinois and was remarried by 1910. I believe this family attended the Catholic Church in Shenandoah...I know there are two churches the girls could have been baptized in and I can't remember the names...perhaps St. Casimir and St. George? I'll have to look that up. Most likely there was a mass and record of the deceased Catherine (WHITE) BUTKUS' funeral at one of the churches as well. Is there anyone on the list with resources readily available for checking on any of this information? I've attempted a search on Ancestry.com for census records but they have never shown up on a Pennsylvania census. This is the most information I've had in 30 years...I'm very excited...I hope I haven't been too excited to make sense or supply enough information for a lookup. Thank you, Joanie (Thomson) Hartman

[Richard Bensinger Dunkelberger and Jane Updegrave were her grand parents] Unfortunately, I lost most of my data in the crash of drive and I do not know where I got this information. The only things I had where on line church records, cemetery, thinks like that. I just hope I did not get that from some family tree, especially the one where my mother had 2 extra siblings, and where her only brother had been prematurely killed 20 years ago.
