    2. Hello: I thought I would share this (limited) information in case someone is trying to find shipping record for their Welsh ancestors coming to the USA. I found an 1833 shipping record that lists Welsh persons traveling to "Pottsfield" Pennsylvania. Where is Pottsfield? Is this Pottsville? I found my REES ancestor on this ship, heading to Carbondale (but she later went to St. Clair). Philadelphia Passenger Lists, 1800-1945 Arrival Date: 27 Aug 1833 Port of Departure: Newport, Wales Ship Name: Mandarin Port of Arrival: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Microfilm Roll Number: M425_48 Some surnames include Lewis, Cook, Pugh, Thomas, Richards, Williams, Jones, Evans, Powell, Brace, and a few names that I can't make out. 3. My Dad was born in Tremont in 1906, Francis Bambrick. I've been through the cemetery but have not located, and IC doesn't have a list of buriels. What I'm looking for, haven't located a head stone, is a grave for my Great Grandparents Henry Bambrick & his wife Catherine (Sweeney) Bambrick who died between 1910 & 1920. Their address according to the 1910 census was in Good Springs. Is it possible they are buried there? Also a son Francis Bambrick, disd in 1905, was a teacher & living with his parents. 1. [PASCHUYL] James Cemetery Indian mound
    2. Fellow genealogists and anyone concerned with preserving our sacred cemeteries, The History Channel and Time Warner are sponsoring a 'Save Our History' grant award for which anyone can go online and cast their vote. Voting ends THIS FRIDAY April 27th, so time is short. We were fortunate that our restoration project was chosen as a finalist. The JCOGS is the only genealogy society or cemetery project to be chosen as one of the five finalists, so I truly hope that you will go to the Time Warner website and cast your vote for the James Cemetery project. If awarded this grant, we will use 100% of the grant to begin installing an antique-style aluminum alloy fence around the perimeter in order to help halt further desecration of this sacred and historic burial ground. You can read more about our James Cemetery project at the Time Warner 'Save Our History' voting website. Please unite with us as a group of genealogists concerned about the ever-increasing destruction of our cemeteries by VOTING for us at the website below. And note also that ANYONE with Internet access can VOTE so please forward this email to your genealogy circle of friends and ask THEM to vote too!
