    2. Gary Cantwell
    3. Hi, we am looking to hear from any of the listers researching Cantwell or Canfield variant in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, that possibly could help. Four major branches/limbs in our tree that we have hit brick walls on the following: 1. Ann(e) Cantwell (Canfield) b abt. 1830, Co Kilkenny Ireland, d/o Edward and Mary Curran Cantwell. We believe that she may have married a Richard Campion, 30 Nov 1844, St Patrick's Church, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, PA. We know that an Ann Cantwell married Richard, but we are not sure that she is the d/o Edward and Mary. 2. Thomas Cantwell, b 1856-1860, PA, s/o Patrick and Anne Brennan Cantwell. I believe that he may have married Catherine King, d/o James and Mary King, abt 1882 in Schuylkill County, PA. We know that a Thomas married Catherine King, but we are not sure that she is the d/o Patrick and Anne. Our Thomas lived in Shenandoah and then Thomas and Catherine show up in Mahanoy City. 3. My wife (a Seitzinger) has family in Fountain Springs and Ashland so we go up quite often. Each time we do, I try to wander the Cemetery to find new family grave sites to photograph for our Seitzinger web site. Last summer, we had a memorial service a the cemetery to recognize James Monroe Seitzinger's Medal of Honor from the Civil War. We placed a plaque on his grave to honor that. By the way, if you are interested, a sister of Faye just passed away. From her obituary in the Pottsville Republican today: "Hope S. Briel, 78, of 30 S. 10th St., Ashland, passed away Tuesday at Saint Catherine Medical Center Fountain Springs. Born in Fountain Springs, Aug. 10, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Stella Mader Seitzinger. She was a graduate of Butler Township High School." I'm a Seitzinger researcher and can help a little with Fay Seitzinger. She was born 5 May 1910 in Fountain Springs to Luther William and Stella Irene Meder Seitzinger. Fay married Claude John Allvord in 1930 and they rented a place two doors down from her parents in Butler Township. She passed away on 28 Jan 1978. The Christ Church Cemetery was originally on the Seitzinger homestead property. The Seitzinger family donated the land to the cemetery and many of the Seitzingers are buried there. Other than a cluster of early Seitzingers that are buried together, there's no designated section for Seitzingers. They are scattered throughout the cemetery.
