I seen the note about the marriage records after I hit the reply button. Aaron & Mary had a daughter Gertrude born June 1885 and a son Harry born abt 1889. Perhaps their records are in there and hopefully if they are it lists Mary's maiden name. Thanks Joanne Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. His brother George had a ton of children. There is one particular marriage I am looking for Aaron Keim to a Mary. I'm looking for her maiden name. Marriage occured between 1883-1885. A notation in the front of the book says that these are not the complete records and that earlier records cannot be found. There are some Keims listed. If you have a specific name and approximate date of event, I'll be happy to look. Baptisms go back to 1869 and marriage to 1897. The first recorded marriage I have is 1897. The oldest baptism is 1869. Sorry I could not be of any help to you for the family you mention. A notation in the front of the book (which was published in 2005) says that these are not the complete records, but that the earlier records cannot be found. It is unfortunate. Perhaps they are archived somewhere or you can find a family Bible or other family records. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I don't have much information on Luther's wife Stella before her marriage. The Schuylkill County Marriage dockett has her name as Meder. However, I DID find a family with a daughter Irene in the 1900 Census with a father Anthony MADER, born in PA. Tracing back, I found an 1870 census for Mount Carmel, Northumberland County that looks like HIS family. If so, it looks like Anthony's parents were Philip Mader b. 1825 in Württemberg and Anna, b. 1835 in Prussia. Anthony had siblings: Walter b. 1857, Mary b. 1859, Anna b. 1864, Nicholas b. 1866 and Caroline b. 1869 Hope this helps. Some of the 1890 Schuylkill County Census Directory is on line at: _http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/schuylkill/census.htm_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/schuylkill/census.htm) The Historical society of Schuylkill County also sold a reprint of the directory as a fund raising effort several years ago, they may have some copies left, or you could probably find a copy available at the Pottsville Library HTH Elizabeth ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.

Does anybody know if the 1890 census records for Shenandoah, South Cass Twsp, Mahanoy City & Minersville were saved by anyone or any organization? A few of my brick walls would crumble danged quick if they survive. P.S. If you don't know, please don't answer (note I did say please with a smile)! If you do know, please make sure you publish the info on list? Countless people will benefit from the info, that's for sure. Thanks!
Looking for info on the family of Farley, Michael and his wife, Ann Collum. Thank you Anne
