I am researching the Cramer line as well, the farthest I can verify though back is Andreas Kramer b. 1753 in PA, his son Adam born abt. 1796 in PA is the father of Jacob Kramer b. 1805 in PA. Soon after Jacob's birth Adam along with his sons move to Ohio and become some of the early settlers there, in Ohio the family spreads out and with the families naming the children all similar surnames it is hard to untangle the lines. I have figured out Jacob Kramer and George Kramer's who settle in Plain, Franklin, Ohio but am not sure about the other son's of Adam; Ludwig, Michael Daniel, Phillip. Any information on this line that I have that would be helpful I am willing to share. If anyone has info that can could help me become more clear on the Cramer/Kramers I would love it! My great-grandfather James McKenna married Mary Anne Murphy. She was the daughter of Owen Murphy and Catherine Tunney Murphy of Minersville, Pennsylvania. These Murphys originally immigrated from County Mayo, Ireland. James McKenna and his wife Mary Anne Murphy McKenna relocated to Baltimore, Maryland. They are listed on the 1880 federal census for Baltimore City. They had three children: my grandfather John Aloysius McKenna and his brother William McKenna and their sister Susan ("Sue") McKenna. Wife also went by margaret as a single woman. actually certain psychics do indicate that they talk to the dead. But in terms of my wording, in his obit, it is indicated, maybe not by him, but his obit indicates the locales of his kids. Author: sbny357 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.pennsylvania.counties.schuylkill/11347.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: What exactly are you trying to find out and what have you checked so far? The Register of Wills offices in both Schuylkill County and Berks County have online searchable marriage databases that will help you determine if any of the children were married there. Since dead people don't talk or write, how did they "indicate" the things you have found out? Have you checked estate records to see if they give any info about decedents' addresses (and married names)? Ancestry.com has pretty good search capabilities to find people in the census, but you may need to get creative. Have you searched 1900 and 1910 for Peter Doyle or Ann Doyle using the info you may have about birth year and state? You may find it helpful to search using the spouse field and eliminating some other data, but if the data is accurate, I tend to find that the best way to find people who've moved to another state is to search on birthplace state and keep the other search parameters loose. If there's any specific info you're looking for that I haven't addressed here, let us know. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I just checked my Lehman data and found that a Jeremiah Lehman was born on March 25, 1823, to John George and Maria Lehman in Pine Grove Township, Schuylkill County. He was baptised on June 8, 1823, at Jacob's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove Township with Jacob and Elizabeth Lehman as the sponsors. Six other children were born to John George and Maria Lehman and baptised at Jacob's and St. Peter's Lutheran Church, only 2 miles apart. I found no sign of Jeremiah after his baptism so it could very well be that he relocated.
