    2. Hi Lori, I have some info on the family because I researched and wrote about a murder trial involving another Judd family in Gilberton in 1918. I also had ancestors of Evans relatives by marriage living on Shaft Street for many years. Would like to know when the studio was in operation and what happened to it. I have a MAYER family photo done by Keagey that is dated 1904. I've seen an unrelated cabinet card on e-bay dated c. 1883. Does anyone know of other photos from Keagey that are dated? If I can't pin down the studio itself perhaps I can get some range of years when it was in operation. My photo is of 4 young people who appear to be in their early 20's. Faded handwriting ID's them as Ruth & Harry MAYER (I know they are brother & sister), Olive and Oak CHAMBERLAIN or CHAMBERLAND. Thanks for any information or ideas on the studio dates. Also please respond if these people or surnames are of interest. I'll be glad to share what info I have. I visited the cemetery on Thursday. Tremont only has one Catholic church parish. Immaculate Conception which is on Cherry Alley also just off Clay Street. The cemetery is only a hundred yards or so north east behind the church as the crow flys. Tremonts population is only about 1800 people. Immaculate Conception was founded in 1853. Traveling west on Route 209 from Pottsville, one would take a right turn north on Clay Street. The first right off Clay is Cherry to the church. The second right off Clay is Clay Road, which is the cemetery entrance. I would recommend Mapquest as a reference source over Google Maps, as Google indicates a slightly incorrect location for the church. Mapquest also has a lower level aerial view that actually allows you a view of the church and cemetery locations. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
