April 1900; Lucy A., b. ca. 1901; Florence P., b. ca. 1904; William H[enry], b. ca. 1905; John V., b. ca. 1907; Annie V., b. ca. January 1910; Margaret I., b. ca.1915; unknown, d. bef. April 1900. He was raised by his mother's brother, David Hubler, after her death, and appears with David on the 1870 census in Pine Grove Twp. Would like to know his exact death date. Was he possibly killed in a mining accident? He worked as a laborer in the coal mines. Has anyone tried recently and had success? I do know about the parish changes which occured a couple of years back. I only need birth and death/burial records 1880 - 1918. (I have already secured all of the marriage records for my family through the Courthouse Marriage Dockets and all the obituaries available through the library in Pottsville.) Their names were Karolis/Karol/Charles SENKUS and Juozas/Jozef/Joseph SENKUS. Karolis lived in Mahanoy City from 1903 to 1907. Joseph lived in Shenandoah 1904 to 1907. Both of them moved to New Britain, Connecticut, in 1907. I believe both worked as coal miners while living in Pennsylvania. Do city directories exist for these two towns that I can access?
